This is a very popular look. The Stila Smoky Eye Palette actually talks you through the process, but here are the basic steps:
- Fill from lash to brow with the lightest shade.
- Then use the matching lid shade for your eyelids. Blend. Use a little under the eye for added drama.
- Use a brush to apply the contour color to the crease between your lid and your brow.
- The darkest color is the eye liner. After you apply the eye liner, use a dry brush to smudge the liner and pull it up into the crease.
- Apply the under eye liner and smudge it with a brush.
- Use a large brush to soften everything.
- Finish with mascara
For work or school, I start with Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15. I love the sun protection and the hint of color that evens out skin tones but seems invisible. For evening, I would start with Stila Illuminating Powder Foundation. I carry the refillable compact with me everywhere.Dampen the sponge first and the creamy powder becomes a concealer. Use a dry sponge for sheer coverage.
Then do your eyes.
Complete your look with blush and lip color using Stila Convertible Color.
I carry Stila Plumping Lip Glaze with me always and shine my lips throughout the day.
